Our personal gratefulness to the work on the cross by Jesus Christ and His resurrection from the dead is central to what we are and believe. It is the Love of Jesus given to us that we give to others. It is our hope also, that this web site would eventually act more as a resource for others than a plug for our church.

We are called to go into the world and preach the Gospel to every 'creature' a statement that could imply that some people were viewed as not even 'people' then and even now. So we reach out to all despite the bigotry of others. There has been great effort made to skew Christians as the cause of war famine and pestilence. Fortunately history tells a very different story. Anyone can claim to be a Christian but what defines what a Christian is found in the New Testament, by this all people can find out the Truth. It was Christians that opposed slavery. It was Christians who supported women's rights. It was Christians who built hospitals in lands hostile to the Christian faith. It was Christians who opposed Hitler and suffered for it. It is Christians who reject racism and opposed apartheid. It was and is Christians who daily die for merely believing, at the hands of those persecutors who claim to the rest of the world that they are peaceful.

It is Christians today that still help others without any other motive other than wanting to be Christ-like. (Romans 6:1-6).
